Curiosity is a good thing. It allows us to view people and even situations with a fresh eye. This is also known as beginners mind in mindfulness. The solution to the “I know” pattern—the mind of the so-called expert—is to adopt what’s called in Zen Buddhism a beginner’s mind. A beginner’s mind is empty. That is, it holds no preconceived notions or ideas. It’s also about questioning all of the mysteries of life. Living with a sense of openness and curiosity helps you come alive and be open to life’s wonderful surprises.
One of the most important things in life is to never stop questioning. In the wise words of Albert Einstein, the most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion that stands at the cradle of true art and true science.
The Blessism for Always questioning the mysteries of life is a wonderful one to practice.
Blesssism for Always Questioning The Mysteries of Life
I bless my curiosity today and my propensity to always question things. May I live with this kind of curiosity today and every day. Living with a sense of openness and curiosity helps me come alive and be open to life’s wonderful surprises. May I see things through the eye of a child today and with a beginner’s mind. May everything be fresh and new. May I live in a world of adventure where my dreams come to life. May every day of my life be full of magic and enchantment. May the most important thing in my life be to never stop questioning. In the wise words of Albert Einstein, the most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion that stands at the cradle of true art and true science. May the many mysteries of life always intrigue me and allow me to live with an open mind. For that, I am extraordinarily grateful.
