It’s easy to feel happy, grateful, and blessed when things are going well but much more challenging to find the gratitude and the blessing in the heartbreak, disappointment, or struggle. It goes without saying that many of us have struggled and are still struggling with difficult times. One thing you can do during difficult times and times of great stress is to bless the journey and bless those parts of yourself that may still feel broken or challenged. Taking the time to love yourself and bless yourself, can help you face challenges with much more empathy and compassion.

I bless and give thanks for the challenging and difficult times I have gone through. I am a SurThriver. Looking back at difficult times helps me appreciate my journey with much more empathy and compassion. I strive to love all parts of myself today, especially any broken, imperfect parts of my being. I send myself love, kindness, and compassion. I can learn to appreciate even the broken parts of myself. Loving myself is the key to everything. Today and every day, I strive to treat my mind, body and spirit with love, respect, and compassion and that's enough.
