Find the Courage to be Patient in Difficult and Challenging Times with the Blessism for Patience.

Today’s BLESSism is all about patience, which can be hard to come by during challenging times. Learning how to be more patient, can help you cope better with everyday challenges in life. Practicing BLESSisms on a regular basis is a wonderful way to manage stress and anxiety in a healthy manner. Those who practice mindfulness on a regular basis may even be better able to focus on the present moment and less likely to ruminate and worry and think about negative thoughts and experiences. The best thing about BLESSisms is the idea that you can practice them in many different ways, from using them in prayer or mediation to repeating them like an intention or affirmation. One more reason to celebrate the idea of BLESSisms!

Blessism for Patience

I bless each and every beautiful experience in my life, especially the difficult or painful experiences, for this is when I need patience the most. I bless all the past and present times when I may have lacked or still lack patience. Consciously perceiving situations in which I am impatient, helps me develop character and strength. Learning how to be more patient, helps me cope better in difficult and challenging times. Patience helps me gather the strength I need during this process of healing. May I find the courage I need to remain patient and calm no matter what is happening around me in any given moment. It is in those quiet moments of solitude when I can find the peace I need. Thank you for that.
