Show Notes

Most everyone has heard about the infamous book written by Stephen Covey, the 7 habits of highly successful people. Stephen R. Covey distills timeless wisdom into seven lifelong practices for building a successful, fulfilling life. Rather than small, daily actions like brushing your teeth, these habits are patterns of thinking and acting that represent a broader approach to life. They are:

  1. Be Proactive
  2. Begin with the End in Mind
  3. Put First Things First
  4. Think Win-Win
  5. Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood
  6. Synergize
  7. Sharpen the Saw

We’ve taken the initiative to create a Blessism for that! The Blessism for Seven Habits of Highly Successful People can help you create a foundation for success in your life. It can also help you realize success is a journey. You are always on the road to success, even if you take a few detours. If you are ready to sharpen your saw and bless your success this one is a great one!

Blessism for Seven Habits of Highly Successful People

I bless my foundation for success today. The road to success is a journey and I am always on the road to success, no matter how many detours I take. I bless my ability to be proactive and to always begin with the end in mind. I bless my ability to put first things first and always think of the win-win scenario. I bless my ability to see failure as a stepping-stone. I seek first to understand, then to be understood. I am in charge of my life and my ultimate destiny. I choose the script in which to live my life. I am responsible for my ultimate choices. I focus on my circle of influence that lies within my circle of concern. I focus on things I can do something about. I strive to create synergy so I can create alternatives and be open to new possibilities. I bless my ability to think outside the box and expand out of my comfort zone. I commit to devoting the necessary time to sharpen my saw and to renewing myself physically, spiritually, mentally, and socially.
