Feeling Sad, Anxious, or Stressed? Lean into Those Strong Emotions by Blessing Them with the Blessism for Strong Emotions.

Difficult and strong emotions are a normal part of life and a natural and normal part of the process of healing. That doesn’t make them any easier to manage. One thing you can do, instead of trying to avoid them, is to take a moment to bless them and gently lean into them. Being willing to sit with these strong feelings and emotions, may not be easy, but it’s a great first step to helping you process them and move through them. The Blessism for Strong Emotions can help you do all of that and more. The next time you feel sad, anxious, upset, or stressed, take 5 minutes to sit down and breathe, and repeat this Blessism. Practice observing those strong emotions, rather than getting lost inside of them.

Blessism for Strong Emotions

I bless and am grateful for ALL of my emotions, even the difficult or challenging ones. As I acknowledge these strong emotions and feelings, I can lean into them and learn to move through them. I am willing to sit with these strong emotions and really feel them. These feelings do not define who I am as a person. They are simply feelings I need to process. I can observe these strong emotions and feelings with curiosity and compassion and without judgment. I can say to myself I'm feeling this strong emotion, and it's okay, it's just a passing feeling. All the strength I need is within me.
